Philosophy

Why should the sky be the limit when there are footprints on the Moon?

When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin climbed down the ladder from their module and stepped onto the grey, dusty lunar surface in 1969, one of the oldest dreams of humanity had finally become reality.

This unparalleled achievement is proof that bold vision, limitless creativity, genuine solutionism and true collaboration can make the supposedly impossible possible – values we live by and translate into our works.

To this day, the Moon landing is an inexhaustible source of fascination and inspiration for scientists, artists and entrepreneurs, including our founder.

As a little girl, she was shown the moon rock at the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn and she has not stopped looking to the stars ever since.

However, as much as we enjoy having our heads up in the sky, we feel just as strongly about having our feet down on Earth. We know where we come from, which is why we donate 1 % of our annual profits to selected non-profit organizations to drive positive change on our home planet.
